The President has criticized the government of Iran for being “unelected.” Why is this ironic? <ol type=a>
The U.S. has allies who are unelected, including the Kuwaiti royal family, the Saudi Royal family, and the military government of Pakistan.
Iran had a democratically elected government back in 1953, but the U.S. overthrew it and installed a dictator in its place.
George W. Bush is unelected.
All of the above.
